Regional Sales Specialist – Denver, CO

The Regional Sales Specialist (RSS) is focused on sales in the Rocky Mountain’s area. The RSS, reporting to the (RSD), is responsible for sustaining and growing sales in their assigned region through activity with System Integrators, A&Es, End Users, Technology Partners, and Distributors.

Territory:

  • Rocky Mountain’s (CO, WY, UT, NM)

Responsibilities include:

  • Meet or exceed monthly sales targets and growth expectations
  • Manage project development with Systems Integrators and Customers.
  • Drive camera recommendations and specifications through activity with End Users, A&Es, and Security Consultants
  • Team with VMS Partners and other Technology Partners to increase revenue and market awareness
  • Team with Arecont Vision’s Regional Sales Leader (RSD or RSM)
  • Understand market trends and dynamics
  • Conduct training, events, on-site product demonstrations, and roadshows as required
  • Monthly calls with Arecont Vision’s Management
  • Effective use of CRM system to manage opportunities, contacts, and leads
  • Be the face of Arecont Vision in the region
  • Attend and exhibit at national or regional trade shows as required
  • Other additional responsibilities to drive revenue and market share

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or similar experience

Experience/Personal Skills:

  • Must speak fluent English
  • Must live in the territory of coverage, Denver area preferred
  • Proven track record of success in the region
  • Minimum of 2 years of outside selling/project management experience in the Security Industry or IT related field
  • Driven and motivated to succeed in a highly competitive environment
  • Great organizational skills
  • Great communication skills and able to communicate effectively in cross functional teams
  • Great public speaking skills, able to present technical information effectively to large audiences if needed
  • Excel in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment while remaining focused on key goals as well as the ability to work under time constraints
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Must be technically adept and potentially able to assist in troubleshoot issues and help find solutions as they arise
  • Excellent business acumen
